Revive the timeless elegance of the classic ocean liner on board the SS: Atlantica. Featuring live bands, floor shows, cabaret acts and dancing, SS: Atlantica is a Champagne sodden foray into the glamour of yesteryear’s most luxurious form of travel. As the sun sets over St Katharine Docks, dozens of yachts moor for the Thames Revival while guests, draped in their best ‘at sea’ finery, dance the night away immersed in decadent glamour and fine entertainment.
Step aboard the beautifully art deco Silver Sturgeon, a luxury clipper, and experience its transformation into a luxury cruise liner circa 1931. Curving balustrades and portholes encircle an immense dance floor, lined by round tables elegantly dressed with pristine white tablecloths. Two bars serve classic cocktails and Champagne, the stage plays host to live floor shows and bands, whilst the balconies hold a string quartet.
The evening’s entertainment follows an authentic 1930’s ship’s itinerary. Guests are entertained throughout the evening by activities and diversions typically enjoyed by the P.O.S.H* crossing the Atlantic in those glory days. Classic deck games including shuffleboard, card games and dominos are on hand for those tired of dancing, while gamblers can try their hand at the roulette tables. Entertainment in the style of the era is provided by London’s finest live bands, singers, dancers and cabaret acts.
Dress code – ‘At-Sea Formalwear’: gentlemen emulate the starched collar and immaculate dinner suit of an Agatha Christie villain with ladies taking their inspiration from the silk and fur ensembles worn by stars of the silver screen.
